REGIO.DIGI.HUB - Regional Development Digital Education HUB
This initiative is the result of the Regio.Digi.Hub project, which aims to build the capacity of the VET system of regional development education at the European level by finding the best combination of bottom-up approaches and leadership involving teachers, trainers and learners with top-level strategy and direction.
Development of an e-learning platform dedicated to innovation in regional development sector in order to better support the major economic, environmental and social shifts taking place and to place VET on regional development in a better position to address future developments through innovation.
Improvement of the educational skills of at least 24 staff from 8 partner organizations of 6 partner countries of the project by developing and conducting a Short-Term Joint-Staff Training.
About the Methodology & Learning Strategies
The content is focusing on the project vocational training system. It also describes the design and provision of regional development skillstraining for workers in regional development sector, following a mixed learning approach. Later this methodology, together with the training curs’ materials, will be tested in the pilot training activities. The Methodology contains information on: European Framework of regional development competence for workers in regional development sector; ECVET profile; The structure of the training manual and evaluation and validation system.
At this stage
An important milestone for the Regio.Digi.Hub project will be the development of the Innovative Training Methodology & Learning Strategies – and online training platform that will host all the training materials and resources created. The Methodology & Learning Strategies will be the base giving the algorithm and main steps for the educational e-platform development.

The Course Development
3 modules that will cover 15 regional development skills for the three areas defining workers in the regional development sector:
SMART SPECIALISATION STRATEGIES, Identifying the common elements between the smart specialization niches of each sector and major regional challenges
GREEN AND DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION, which include adapting to digital communication and being familiar with digital literacy, IT education, Artificial intelligence;
INNOVATION ENTREPRENEURSHIP, to help understanding and applying Social entrepreneurship principles, leadership and motivation.
